NEVER – EVER
First time ever snowboarding.

BEGINNER
Has snowboarded before and can stop and travel comfortably from one side of the trail to the other on the beginner slope, (Bambi).

NOVICE
Can snowboard on a novice slope (Boomerang and maybe Long John).  They can control their speed and turn at least in one direction.

INTERMEDIATE
Can snowboard with confidence on intermediate slopes, (Long John and Meadow).  They can turn comfortably both ways with confident stops at any time.
