lift ticket, rental, Season Pass and admin Policy

Lift Tickets & Rentals

  • All lift ticket and rental equipment purchases are encouraged to be completed on-line prior to each visit. 

  • Lift tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferrable, one time only. Transfer requests must be submitted no later than 24 hours’ in advance of the scheduled start time.

  • Tickets purchased as one transaction cannot be transferred individually to different dates and times. Tickets cannot be transferred to the following season.

  • Lift tickets purchased online may be given/sold to someone else. The person using the tickets will require the email ticket confirmation and PDF barcodes to claim their tickets at Guest Services.

  • To request a lift ticket transfer, please complete the Lift Ticket/Rental Transfer Request form.

  • Rental refunds or transfers must be requested no later than 24hrs prior to your scheduled visit.

  • Batawa Ski Hill reserves the right to revoke a lift ticket for violation of any ski hill operating policy or procedure.

Season Pass

  • As an outdoor facility, Batawa Ski Hill is subject to many different weather conditions.  Due to the unpredictability of the weather, we are unable to make any guarantees about the number of days our facility will be open.  There will be no refunds based on poor seasonal conditions or shut downs due to inclement weather.

  • At -30 degrees, with windchill, the chairlift will be shut down while surface lifts (t-bar, handle tow) will remain in operation.

  • Anytime Season Pass is valid for any scheduled operating day, or night, as per the operating calendar.

  • Family Anytime Season Pass is valid for 4 family members ages 7 and up, residing at the same address, and includes one adult/senior guardian. Families with more than 4 members (as previously defined) will be provided the opportunity to add an Additional Family Member Pass to their account. While Batawa Ski Hill recognizes a broader social definition of ‘family,’ our ‘Family Anytime Season Pass’ product is designed to support a family units’ participation in snow sports and is limited to immediate family as outlined above.

  • Night Season Pass is valid for any scheduled night as per the operating calendar within the hours of 5:00pm to 9:00pm only.  There are limitations on the number of nights available during the season, please check our calendar of operations prior to purchasing a pass.

  • Midweek Season Pass is valid for any Monday to Friday scheduled day as per the operating calendar within the hours of 1:00pm to 5:00pm only.  A Midweek pass is also valid during holiday periods, or days with scheduled extended hours from 9:00am to 1:00pm.

  • A waiver must be signed by the pass holder (18+) or parent/guardian (under 18) in order to receive a pass.

  • Season passes must be worn visibly and secured by the pass holder. Metal key rings are provided and recommended for attaching to jacket or pant zippers. Passes must not be attached to gloves or hat. Protection of the pass from loss or damage is entirely the responsibility of the pass holder. Passes must not be altered in any manner and must be presented for inspection at lift gates, at any point of sale and to any Batawa employee or safety volunteer on request. Improper use of a pass or failure to follow hill use and safety rules will result in confiscation and cancellation of the pass without refund.

  • In the event of a forgotten pass a lift ticket will have to be purchased; no complimentary ticket will be issued. If a pass is found in use by a person other than the rightful pass holder, the pass will be revoked.

  • There is a replacement fee of $50.00 for lost passes ($15 for Tyke pass).  No complimentary passes are provided for a forgotten pass.

  • Batawa Ski Hill reserves the right to revoke a season pass for violation of any ski hill operating policy or procedure.

Military Discount

  • Batawa Ski Hill offers discounted passes for military members and their immediate family.

  • An immediate family member is defined as a spouse/partner or children. Grandchildren, in-laws, siblings, or other extended family are not eligible for discounted passes.

  • Discounted passes can be purchased online and in-person. Military I.D. must be provided upon pass pick-up. If a valid ID cannot be produced, or the guest has purchased a discounted pass in error, they will have the opportunity for a refund (as per our refund policy) or can upgrade to the standard pass.

  • Discounts are NOT retroactive.

Season Pass Refunds

  • Corporate Partnership Program: The first Corporate Season Pass ($999.00) is non-transferable and non-refundable. Additional passes purchased under the Corporate Partnership Program are subject to the season pass refund policy outlined below.

  • Unused season passes can be refunded with a 5% resort admin fee if requested before December 31, 2024.

  • In the case of injury or serious illness, the value of your pass can be transferred to the following season (in the same pass holder's name) with a doctor's note and written request submitted before January 31, 2025 Transfer beyond one season is not permitted.

  • Any credits or refunds are subject to a 5% resort admin fee.

Covid – 19 Season Pass Refund Policy

In the event of a full, or partial, closing of the ski area due to Covid-19 restrictions in excess of three weeks, the following shall apply:

The number of remaining available open days or nights will be calculated by the regular day or night lift ticket rate.  If that amount exceeds the cost of the appropriate Season Pass, there is no refund.  If the amount is less, the passholder will receive the difference between the two amounts.
