Adventure Camp
Early Bird starting at $272
Campers ages 5-13 (born between 2011 and 2019) will enjoy days full of adventure, exploration and creativity! Campers have the option of brining their bikes to camp but it’s definitely not a necessity to enjoy the outdoors with us! Our general programs are designed with all campers in mind with a combination of structured/scheduled activities and the always-popular Camper’s Choice activities!

We love to brag about the folks who make up our Campology Team each summer, so we thought, why not pass on some of that magic! Ta-da! – This exciting new two-week program is for campers 15-17 years of age. This program is designed to build on leadership concepts learned in the LIT program and to prepare teens to become leaders in their community. Read on for program weeks and descriptions.
CIT 1 participants will spend their first week exploring fundamental topics related to successful leadership development such as effective leadership styles, communication, activity planning, child development, and conflict resolution. During their second week, CIT’s will work on obtaining their first aid and CPR certification as well as participate in wilderness leadership training. Working with Ross Thistle at FACT Plus - First Aid and Certification, campers will walk away with not only a basic first-aid and CPR certification but also a wealth of wilderness survival knowledge! In the third week CIT’s will have the opportunity to put their new learning to use as they work with our camp counsellors to organize and lead activities for our younger campers.
CIT 2 participants will spend their first few days exploring healthy child development and power of building connections with campers, including receiving High Five Certification - HIGH FIVE® is Canada's quality standard for recreation and leisure programs; read all about it here. Participants will build on the workshops and topics covered in CIT 1 by putting their new skills to work planning and delivering various camp activities and working closely with campers and counsellors in leading and supervising camper groups and programs. CIT 1 is not a pre-requisite for this program but is strongly recommended.
C.I.T. 1 - Born 2009 or later: Week 6, 7 & 8 August 6 to 9, August 12 to 16 & August 19 to 23
C.I.T. 2 - Completed C.I.T 1: Week 2, 3 (mandatory), Week 4 & 5 (optional) July 8 to 12, July 15 to 19, July 22 to 26 & July 29 to August 2 (Week 4 & 5 are optional to attend)
As this is a limited and specialized program there will be an application process where campers will be asked to submit answers to a few fun camp-related questions!
