For First Timers, Ages 7+


 

Experience skiing or snowboarding for the first time and have a blast while doing it with our “First Timers” experience. Our certified Instructors are excited about introducing you to the basics of skiing or snowboarding and giving you the chance to navigate the beginners’ terrain on your own terms.

The First Timers Experience includes:

  • One 60-minute group lesson on our learning area and/or “Bambi” trail

  • Bambi lift ticket

  • Rental package: Includes skis/snowboard, boots, and helmet (up to 4 hours).

  • Adult First Timer Package $67.00 + HST

  • Youth (ages 7 - 17) First Timer Package: $60.25 + HST

First Timers Experience Arrival Times:

  • Wednesday - Friday: arrival times 12:00pm, 4:15pm

  • Saturday arrival times 8:30am, 10:00am, 12:00pm, 1:30pm, 4:15pm

  • Sunday arrival times 8:30am, 10:00am, 12:00pm, 1:30pm

  • First Timer experiences are also available during our holiday extended hours (Christmas break, Family day and March Break). Please see calendar on our homepage for holiday hours.

+ Do I need to purchase a lift ticket and rentals separately?

No. When you purchase this package your lift ticket and rentals are inluded. The lesson is complimentary.

+ Do you rent winter clothing and goggles?

No.

+ What do I need to wear?

+ What time do I need to arrive?

Be at the snow school ticket window at your scheduled arrival time.

+ Will my instrcutor take me up on the Chairlift?

No. The first timer package takes place on the learning area and/or our beginner slope "Bambi".

+ Can I upgrade my lift ticket after my lesson to access the chairlift?

Yes. Upgrades can be purchased at the ticket window after your lesson has been completed.

+ What if I have skied/snowboarded before but I don't feel confident and still consider myself a total beginner?

The first timer experience is a good choice if you feel that you need a referesher lesson on the beginner slope focused on the very basic fundamentals.

Private lessons or Multi-week group lessons are also good options.

+ How many people are in the group lesson?

We try to keep groups to a maximum of 8 people.
